ConnectBeam Connects With Series A Financing Round

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Enterprise 2.0 company ConnectBeam, Inc. has received $3.5 million in series A financing, according to PE Hub.

ConnectBeam helps enterprises incorporate the benefits of Web 2.0 collaborative software applications into the daily work-flow processes of their employees.  The company's software suite includes social bookmarking and tagging features, which help employees share their information and find the people who have the expertise users are searching for.

Investors in the round included Gabriel Venture Partners and Startup Capital Partners.  Proceeds purposes for the funding round were not disclosed.
